^{_{Handing out cigarettes is a common way of socializing among smokers in the artist’s hometown Wuhan. On April 18, 2011, he started smoking and began collecting and photographing the butts of the cigarettes he smoked each day. A year later, he created this video using 366 photos. The continuous playback of these photos is repeated twelve times, with each repetition playing twice as fast as the previous one.}}
