Continuous loop

By covering and rubbing his iPhone’s camera with his finger in different scenes, the artist simulated the experience of seeing with closed eyes, a habit he developed growing up. The resulting video clips are shuffled in a continuous loop, creating a series of invisible spaces and times strung together in flowing or flickering red. Beyond these now-visible color changes, the rest remains in the realm of invisible imagination.

9-channel video (color, silent)
Continuous loop

The 9-channel video is a multi-channel mock-up of the single-channel HD video regarding the fact that today’s world is surrounded and shattered by screens. All the video clips are randomly distributed across each screen, and the difference in color and rhythm of the clips creates a fragmented landscape. The artist has set black and white to be played simultaneously to control the overall rhythm of the work.
