While living in Melbourne, the artist encountered a curious street sign that caught his eye, compelling him to photograph it. This experience sparked his awareness of the multitude of signs scattered throughout the city, varying in shape from rectangular to square. Intrigued, he sought to uncover their meanings but found no answers, whether through asking locals or researching online. This enigmatic presence of the signs became a focal point of his work, embodying the mystery and ubiquity of urban symbols.

Driven by this fascination, he began going out every morning, capturing images of these signs in his neighborhood until twilight. This dedication culminated in the creation of two videos composed of his photographs.

These signs, while potentially connected to abstract paintings or sculptures and representing significant temporal, physical, and technical efforts, appear simple on the surface—yet they remain aesthetically pleasing and evocative.
