By utilizing the aperture of a public trash can as a fixed viewfinder, the artist recorded the flux of a street corner through a physical intervention. During this process, the object’s functional attributes were suspended, transforming it into a medium of observation. 16 images capture the gazes of passersby directed at this reconfigured site, using fleeting “presence” to accentuate the enduring “absence” within the everyday space.}}
